The role...As always, a very thought-provoking post. The role of amnesties - and more particularly, their effect - in societies reeling from periods of atrocities is debatable. I'm personally not very favorable to them, but if a nation chooses democratically that path, who am I, or anyone else, to stop them?<br /><br />I do somewhat understand the pain of the victims though, who are deprived by a majority decision of Justice.<br /><br />I would like to see and read that decision however, to understand better the ratio decidendi behind it, so if someone sends it to you in English, please do forward it to me!
